A little about myself...
I sincerely believe it's possible - in fact, much easier - to have a beautiful home that really suits your needs simply by first clarifying what is really important to you and being just a little more deliberate about how you choose your home. We hear a lot about "green" or "sustainable" homes these days, but what does that really mean? To my mind, a green home is durable, working well for you and your lifestyle over time, comfortably and efficiently meeting your needs without requiring an excessive amount of resources (including time and money). Sustainability just makes sense...
...and not just in homes. My commitment to sustainability imbues my business philosophy, too. I think in terms of relationships, not individual transactions. My clients' interests always come first, period. Truly sustainable practices call for more than just good intentions, though. My commitment to superior service is supported by 25+ years’ business experience, a B. S. degree in business, an M. S. degree in counseling, an Oregon real estate broker license, an Earth Advantage certification, and a certified EcoBroker™ designation. I am also skilled in needs assessment (to help you clarify and prioritize your goals), real estate market analysis, negotiating, sales & and marketing, and transaction management.
I earned National Association of Realtors' designation as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource specialist, which means I bring particular knowledge and skill to help sellers and buyers navigate smoothly through what can often be a challenging transaction.
When I'm not selling real estate, I regularly participate and volunteer with organizations related to sustainability, particularly green building, as well as volunteering weekly in a senior center. I also spend many hours in the garden (OK, mainly weeding) and puttering around with home projects.
